Dr. Corrin McCann

Corrin McCann, Veterinarian and Owner

Dr. Corrin McCann began working at Medford Animal Hospital and Wellness Clinic in March 2016, and became the owner of the hospital in June 2016. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2004 where she graduated cum laude. Dr. McCann went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, earning cum laude honors once again.

Professionally, Dr. McCann is passionate about senior pet care and health, internal medicine, dentistry and dermatology. She is a member of the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

"I really enjoy getting to know the pet patients and their parents over the years," Dr. McCann says. "I love seeing a pet grow from a puppy or kitten until it reaches its senior years and having the trust, rapport and hopefully friendship with the owners to help them make the best decisions possible for their family. It's a wonderful feeling to be able to help and find a solution to a problem and it's a profound honor to help pets and their owners make tough decisions."

Dr. McCann grew up in Delran, N.J., and knew from a young age that she wanted to help people or animals. She spent most of her free time as a child and teenager at a local barn working with horses. "Being around the horses and helping with the litters of barn cats really ignited my passion for working with animals," she says. Before becoming a veterinarian, Dr. McCann worked and volunteered with several animal organizations, including the Delaware Valley Veterinary Hospital as a veterinary technician, at the Wild Horse Sanctuary as a summer intern, and at the Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge.

Dr. McCann has one pet of her own at home. Oakley is a 6-year-old mixed breed dog who was a rescue, she's her shadow at home and taught Dr. McCann a lot about pet behavior. Dr. McCann enjoys spending time with her family, date nights with husband Chris, traveling, the shore, nature and reading. She has two rambunctious boys named Graham and Sawyer.

Dr. Elise Enners

Elise Enners, BVMS, MRCVS, Veterinarian

Elise Enners (BVMS) has been working in the veterinary field since 2008, though her dream to become a veterinarian started at young age of 3. Starting work at shelters since 2005, Dr. Enners began her career as a veterinary receptionist in 2008 and then continued on to become a veterinary technician throughout her time as an undergraduate at Rutgers University (2009-2014) as well as during breaks from veterinary school. During this time she had numerous externships through the UK’s Dog Trust, ASPCA, UPenn Veterinary Hospital, and VSEC Philadelphia.

Dr. Enners graduated with commendation from the University of Glasgow, School of Veterinary Medicine (2019) and tremendously enjoyed her opportunity to live and learn in Scotland.

She is proudly Fear Free certified. Dr. Enners is also a member of the AVMA as well as the RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons).

Within the veterinary field, Dr. Enners takes a keen interest in internal medicine cases— most specifically endocrinology, nephrology and oncology. She also enjoys shelter medicine and surgery as well as the rewards with improving the quality of life for animals who have not yet or recently found furrever homes!

Dr. Enners lives in South Philly with Islay, her sassy pittie mix, and her less sassy/very supportive partner Chris. In their free time together they enjoy time in nature and hiking, as well as watching movies, going to friend's band gigs, and drinking coffee with friends. She also loves spending time with her family back in northern NJ, to whom she attributes all her wit and wisdom.

Throughout her career, Dr. Enners has gained a love and appreciation for the owner-pet-vet relationship through honesty, trust and placing a supreme importance on shared decision-making for wellness and treatment plans available for pets and owners alike!

Dr. Enners absolutely loves being a team member at Medford Animal Hospital. She firmly believes that behind every great veterinarian there is an even greater support staff! It is a pleasure for her to work at MAH where the practice goals are pet and community friendly, and everyone is treated like family.

Dr. Pam Mukalian

Pam Mukalian, Veterinarian

Dr. Pamela Mukalian is one of our incredible veterinarians, joining our team in April of 2022. She specializes in general practice and surgery and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Asked what the most satisfying part of her career is, she says she loves watching puppies and kittens grow up as she supports them throughout all their life stages. She also enjoys the opportunity to give relief to concerned owners after they were worried for their baby.

Dr. Pamela received her undergraduate degree in Small Animal Science and a Minor in Psychology from Delaware Valley University in 2016. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a part of the Delta Tau Alpha honor society and the Alpha Lamda Delta honor society. She then graduated from Lincoln Memorial University in 2020.

Growing up around animals in Mount Laurel, NJ, Dr. Pamela always felt a special connection with them and wanted a chance to advocate and care for them. Because her parents are both physicians, they motivated her to help and care for those in need. Working in a kennel for a few summers helped her learn animal behavior, while her experience as a vet tech helped acclimate her to the flow of the hospital. This experience also helps her appreciate all her staff!

Dr. Pamela has a Golden Retriever named Ella and two horses named Halley and Luke. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, playing guitar and ukulele, and spending time with her family.
